Re:

I know it takes a couple of days to stop the awful ads once they get paid, but my members say they still see the ads and it has been a couple of days already.

I also keep my individual membership and I guess I don't really should so I could see when our board loses their premium account. I just always kept mine premium.

Thanks once again.

Re: Premium membership for our board...

Hi Joan,

Thor just left on holiday, and I don't have access to see who has made board premium payments. However, I believe you when you say you have paid, so I added 100,000 credits to your board just now. Thank you for your patience, and for your continued support. emoticon

To prevent your board's premium from running out, you could set a schedule for yourself to keep track of how many premium credits you have left. You could do this in a hidden thread at your board, in a text file on your computer, or in a physical notebook, whichever works best for you. Based on your board stats, you should be safe checking this number once per month, as a general rule. When you start to get closer to running out of premium credits, you can purchase more credits without having to wait for them to run out.

I hope this helps. emoticon

With our board,
link
thepoliticalgrilltwo,
We started a conversation over how to increase the number of threads visible on each page to be 40 instead of 20.
So you advised me to purchase premium board membership.
Which I did.
It worked for over 6 months.
But about a week ago the board seems to have lost its premium membership and thread count went back to 20.
So we need to find out what happened, and fix that.

Rigby5, Please see this topic, where I replied to you earlier today. http://bakheva.runboard.com/t16819 That thread is devoted completely to the board you post on.

Can you post a screenshot of this?

I can't find it anywhere in the control panel of my message board - all I see in the control panel is the option to extend my USER premium membership - but no option to apply for a board premium membership.

Here is a picture of where the button is:

However, you are a new member with a new board and the button will not likely show up until your 30 days of free Premium is up. If it doesn't show up then, come back here right away and post about it.

Re: Premium membership for our board...

I know we are speaking about making a board a Premium board. There are two places to make that happen.

1. After a board's creation, you have 30 days of "complimentary premium benefits." After 30 days a button appears at the bottom of the message boards control panel giving you the ability to purchase premium credits for the message board.

2. If you are a member of a board and you use the "control panel" link on that board to buy a Premium User membership for yourself then the board you started from will get 10,000 premium page views added to it as a token of appreciation from Runboard.

Members who go straight to their control panel to purchase a "Premium User Membership" do not credit a message board with "Premium Page Views." That bonus only occurs if they use the "control panel link" that is on the message board.

Please see this post to see the difference between a "Premium Board Membership" and a "Premium User Membership."

I am missing that button in my control panel.
