It's funny, how coming out of a long funk liberates a lot of energy.
I'm getting ideas for my EFT work (new classes, website changes, an anniversary celebration in January) and ...
for writing (a wild tale of a young woman who must choose between two men, set in a palaeolithic Native American society) and ...
and just being able to finally *do* things I've been procrastinating about for months.
Sure feels good.
New style coming up
Nope, not in CSS, this time it's about my personal style. I have an appointment with a style coach, on colors and personal style - and I'm going to get my hair cut and maybe some strands dyed right after that!
I'm excited and a little scared and jittery. What an adventure! And yes, there will be before and after pictures.
I guess I caught a cold from a participant in my tapping group evening on Tuesday. At any rate my nose is running (and clogged in between), and I feel rather low key.
Tapping is helping, fortunately, as is thyme tea and a good night's sleep. :-)
It's amazing. Happiness is simply a decision to enjoy life as much as possible. The wonderful thing is how things start to happen once that decision has been taken.
For example, I had completely forgotten about an anthology I contributed a story to. In fact, it had gone dormant in 2008. Last Saturday, when I returned from my class, I found a little book in my mailbox - it was the complimentary copy of said anthology. I had no idea it was going to print, so that was a really nice surprise.
Also, in other aspects, life has become more fun and satisfying. I'm making new friends, I'm feeling better, and so on. Once happiness starts to settle in, an upwards spiral begins.
Folks, I'm going to enjoy this ride. :)
Five years have gone by since the last entry. Amazing.
Life has changed drastically in those five years. All in all, it has become better, more interesting and more ... alive.
